Show Worked Solution

\(\text{Let}\ x=\text{width, then}\ \ 1.5x=\text{length}\)

\(\text{Perimeter:}\ \rightarrow\ \) \(\ \ 2\times x+2\times 1.5 x\) \(=50\)
  \(5x\) \(=50\)
  \(x\) \(=10\)

\(\therefore\ \text{width}=10\ \text{cm,  length}=15\ \text{cm}\)

\(\therefore\ \text{Area}\) \(=10\times 15\)
  \(=150\ \text{cm}^2\)
