A parallelogram has an area of 1872 square metres and a perpendicular height of 78 metres.

Calculate the base length of the parallelogram.  (2 marks)

\(\text{Area}\) \(=\text{base}\times \text{height}\)
\(\therefore\ 1872\) \(=b\times 78\)
\(b\) \(=\dfrac{1872}{78}\)
