--- 5 WORK AREA LINES (style=lined) ---

Show Answers Only

\(\text {If set \(A\) is a function, there can only be one \(y\)-value}\)

\(\text{for any given } x \text{-value.}\)

\(\text{This is not the case} \ \Rightarrow\ (1,3),(1,7)\)

\(\therefore\ \text{Set} \ A \ \text {is a relation.}\)
