`e^(2 ln x)` `= x + 6`
`ln e^(2 ln x)` `= ln (x + 6)`
`2 ln x` `= ln (x + 6)`
`ln x^2` `= ln (x + 6)`
`x^2` `= x + 6`
`x^2-x-6` `= 0`
`(x-3) (x + 2)` `= 0`

 
`:. x = 3 \ \ (x>0)`
